BIP Master Summer School at TH Rosenheim, Germany

Last year we celebrated the debut of our Master Summer School on Future Challenges in Engineering and welcomed international guests to Rosenheim. We are happy to offer the programme again from 24 to 29 July 2023. As a next step, we also want to offer the summer school as a Blended Intensive Programme (“BIP”) in the ERASMUS+ framework. We would be happy if you promote the programme to your students and we can welcome 2 to 5 students.

TH Rosenheim as the coordinating and host university will take care of the organisation of the programme. We advise students before arrival and guide all participants during their stay. The programme is rewarded with 3 ECTS CP and offers a choice of 3 classes. All classes aim at Master’s students and senior year’s Bachelor’s students.

  • Class A: Industrial Engineering – Challenges in the Next Decade
  • Class B: Sustainability and Circular Economy
  • Class C: Advanced Design for Additive Manufacturing

There are no tuition fees for your students. The social programme during the week and the weekend trip to Munich are also free of charge. As an option, we provide accommodation and insurance during the stay in Rosenheim and Munich (400 EUR in total). If you also reward short-term blended mobility grants via Erasmus+, the students could cover their costs with an individual funding for their stay in Germany:

70 EUR/day x 6 days of physical activity within our programme = 420 EUR of funding by home university, if approved

A total of 15 learners must participate in a BIP to access BIP-OS. If we reach the number, we would be glad if your university joins us the BIP as a formal sending institution. If so, we would be happy to put your university's logo on the website as a BIP partner. Of course, even without an official BIP we are offering the programme and welcome your students 😊
